Angelia and I celebrated our three month anniversary on Sunday. It has been an amazing adventure with her and God! Above is a picture from our honeymoon, we are looking forward to going camping again this spring. My procedure to shrink my Spleen has been a great sucess, however the pain medicine causes me to dehydrate and be constipated, then the medicine for the constipation makes my dehydration worse. I am getting more fluids today, and hope to be able to get chemo next week. I was off my pain medicine since Sunday afternoon, I had gotten sick right after taking my pain medicine, so I decided to try to just deal with the pain. I would like to return to work as soon as possible. When I visited with Dr. Hassan yesterday she told me to go back on my meds so they can get control of the pain, and then they will rehydrate me, and then get my bowel movements back to regular. I think I am fighting a two headed snake, the side effects from the meds, cause trouble, but I can not do without the meds. I pray everyone is doing well, and God has blessed you today! I had my procedure last week, and had a follow up appointment with the doctor at the main campus, my platlet counts went from Fifty to over Two hundred. We are all pleased with this and give God the praise. I have been experiencing allot of pain and had some bowle movement problems, the laxitive fixed that, the doctor placed me on a different pain medication, and I am going this afternoon for some IV fluids. I will probably have another CAT scan on Sunday, with follow up appointments with Dr. Hussan about restarting my chemo. Other then the pain I am feeling pretty good. Angelia has been with me for the past 2 weeks taking care of me, she truely is a blessing. I hope ths update finds you well, and may God bless you and your family!

I appologize for not updating sooner. I was waiting to get information on when I would be having another procedure. On Tuesday at 1:00 pm I will be having a procedure to shrink my spleen. They are going to go thru the Artery in my leg and find the Arteries feeding the Spleen, then they will inject some clotting material in to limit the blood flow to the Spleen. This will hopefully allow my platelet count to go up and I can continue my chemo theropy. We went to the Blue Collar Comedy Tour last weekend, and had a great time, the picture above is Bill Engval. Angelia is spending the week with me while I am in the hospital, they are going to admit me for observation for 1 to 5 days, depending on the amount of pain. Have a great week and God bless everyone!
