This morning I helped my dad get the motorhome wired up to run satelite/roof mounted antenna/vcr and dvd player. We had it working great and then I unhooked everything to reroute the cables, and then the satelite would not work. Finally found a bad connection on one of the cables. Mom had no problems running all the different configurations to get the tv to work, in fact after some trial and error, she was able to record Dr. Phil, she is happy. We went to the pool and bobbed around for a couple hours. I am feeling really strong except for the bad sunburn on top of my feet, but even that is getting better. God has blessed me with a great family, and friends, for this I am truely grateful. May you be as blessed as I am. God watch out for you and your family over this holiday weekend!
I know that Kendall has a lot of followers on this Blog so I would like to ask that eac of you remember what this weekend is about. Without the brave men and women that have given us the utimate sacrifice we would not be able to celebrate. So please, during your family bbq or camping trip, take a minute to say a prayer for our fallen heros and their families. Let us never forget them. I heard a comment on CNN today that really bought it all home for me....I am going to ad lib now because I cannot remember the exact quote, but basicaly it said, R&R should be "remembrance and reverence"....Amen to that. Also pleae say a prayer for our veteran's and our active military. May God continue to bless and watch over you. Thank you K for letting me use your blog. Be safe.
