FABULOUS FRIDAY!

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. PHILIPPIANS 4:4-7

Having a great day! minor stomach cramps, but God will ease the pain. I have a meeting at Conoco Phillips this afternoon, to explain caliper logging to their engineers. Yesterday evening I got to play golf, and came in tied for first at 6 under par. My team came in second after the closest to the hole play-off. I have not been sleeping well for some reason, I am sleeping, but I do not feel rested. Have a blessed day, and ask God to help with your problems or thank him for everything in your life, it is all a gift from the Lord!

BEAUTIFUL DAY!

Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. PSALM 37:1-4

Having a good day! I hope my cramps will not be bad today. Angelia has determined that when I eat bean burrito's my cramps are worse. I will hold off on food today to try to get a good day with little pain. I have made all the major arrangements to fly to Illinois and visit during the week of August 24th. Angelia and I are very excited about the trip, it will be our first vacation together. May God bless you in all your days!

BEAUTIFUL WEDNESDAY!

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. ECCLESIASTES 3:11

I am having a pretty good day, still have the occasional cramps, but I will endure with Gods help. I have a small job to go on this morning to observe and help a fellow employee run a cement evaluation log. The picture above was sent to me by Jan she thought and was right it is a beautiful picture. Angelia and I are going to Illinois in lat August to visit my parents and brother-in-law and sister. We are both looking forward to the trip. I have not been back to Illinois since my class reunion in 2001. Have a blessed day!

NON IDLE TUESDAY!

If a man is lazy, the rafters sag; if his hands are idle, the house leaks. ECCLESIASTES 10:18

Sorry, I am late with my update, as the verse says my rafters are not sagging. I have been fairly busy all morning and it is now almost 3 o'clock. I am doing pretty good today, I have had several stomach pains\cramps, but overall I have had a blessed day. Yesterday I was pretty tired, but today I am alert, which is good because the world needs more lerts ;-). I am thinking of trying to find a small love seat/recliners for the trailer the recliners are not very comfortable. I will probably have to find something through an RV dealer. I have a prayer request for a lady in Lafayette who has been diagnosed with lung and liver cancer, please join me in praying for Peggy to have the strength and Gods love to get through this hard time. I hope this finds you well, God bless!

RESTED MONDAY!

My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. PSALM 62:1-2

I had a glorious weekend! Today I am having minor stomach cramps, but not bad. I processed a log for a customer until early Friday morning, and then slept most the day. I had a dentist appointment, and then got to attend a men's fellowship Friday evening. I spent the weekend with Angelia, I was blessed to be able to fix a bad battery terminal on her car. I attended church with Angelia and her mother on Sunday, and we just hung out relaxing and watching movies all day. I pray everyone had as great a weekend as I had, God bless and have a great week.

HAPPY THURSDAY!

Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. JAMES 5:13

I am doing great today! I have finally gotten some pictures of the trailer to share with everyone. I am very content with the trailer, it has plenty of room and is very comfortable. Even tough it is a pull behind it is pretty large 33' with two slides. We have finally started getting rain in the area, we have been under a burn ban, due to the drought conditions. I trust God is giving you a good week, remember to praise him for the good and the bad!

WEDNESDAY

Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever! Amen. 2 PETER 3:17-18

I am doing very good today, I was up half the night processing a log for a customer. Angelia came down last night and I cooked chicken spaghetti, and had a real nice visit. I bought and installed a new stereo in the camper (picture above), the old one would not allow me to hook up the tv for stereo sound. When the air conditioner was running I had a real hard time hearing the tv. I should have a job in Bossier City, LA tomorrow, I am waiting for a call to confirm. I pray that my blog brings you a blessing in Gods word every day!

LOST KEYS!

But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is trough faith in Christ -- the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. PHILIPPIANS 3:7-9

I am having a better day then my morning. I am feeling fine, but last night I had emptied my pockets and this morning I noticed the keys to my trailer were not on the dresser. I started fretting over where they would have fell out of my pocket. I checked the truck, parking lot at the hotel, asked the front desk, drove to the Tyler shop and looked around, no keys. I was trying to remember exactly were I had stopped the day before and if I had remembered hearing the keys drop out when I was getting my truck keys out. I was sure tey were not in my pants pocket, but I decided to check one more time, and there they were. I believe God led me to check my pants again, as I was sure they could not be there. I know have them attached to my large key ring that weighs about a pound and a half, I will get spares made at the earliest convienence. I hope everyone has a better day then that, but if not I pray God will work to solve your problem, God bless and have a great day!

ANOTHER WEEK!

A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones. PROVERBS 15:30

I am feeling pretty good today! I went on a job Saturday, Church Sunday morning, I went to lunch with some friends from Sunday school. Then spent Sunday afternoon watching golf, and doing laundry. The picture is the table in my trailer, it was the first real meal made in my trailer. The trailer is finished being set up, all I have to do now is maintain it, I bought a good vacuum cleaner, I could not believe how much dirt it picked up the first time I ran it. God bless you and your family!

FRIENDLY FRIDAY!

"God does all these things to a man -- twice, even three times -- to turn back his soul from the pit, that the light of life may shine on him. JOB 33:29-30

Good Friday morning, I would challenge everyone to be friendly towards someone today, a smile, nod, or just a heart felt good morning. It will effect so many lives as they take this good feeling and spread it around. I have a few cramps this morning, but over all I feel good. I was extremely tired yesterday afternoon, and I went home and slept from 2 to about 9, then I processed a log and went back to sleep around 1:30 a.m. and slept till 5:30 a.m., I guess I needed the rest. I will attempt to take pictures of the travel trailer and put them on the blog, now that it is furnished and ready to live in. God bless you and your families, if anyone needs prayer please let me know at kkesinger@perfolog.com have a great day!

HEALTH UPDATE!

A faitful man will be richly blessed. PROVERBS 28:20a

I went to the doctors yesterday, and recieved great news, bless the Lord our God. My tumors are still the same size, so we are going to continue the monitoring, whic means no chemo for at least another two months. I have another doctors appointment on the 13th of August, for a checkup and blood work. Angelia came down Tuesday evening, and I got to cook a meal for her. Then we went to the doctors Wednesday, and she cooked me dinner last night. She just called me to tell me she had made it to work safe, and wanted to know how I can drive long distances without falling asleep. I am truely blessed by God and he has given me continued health, through everyone's prayer's and love, and of course the doctors and nurses. I hope everyone is having a great day!

TERRIFIC TUESDAY!

We live by faith, not by sight. 2 CORINTHIANS 5:7

I am doing better today, I had pretty bad cramps yesterday. I think it was probably due to the barium. The above scripture is Angelia's favorite, we saw a young man at Best Buy that had it tattooed on his forearm, even some of the younger generation gets it. I never thought i would refer to anyone as the younger generation :-). Angelia is coming down this evening to go to my doctors appointment tomorrow, I am excited for her to have a chance to ask questions and meet the people who have been a blessing in my life at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. I purchased some pots and pans yesterday for the trailer, I think I am set-up whith everything I need, there are still some things I want, but that will come in time, God willing! Have a blessed day, and talk to God when you get a chance, he misses you!

“Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and never succeed. (Proverbs 12:24)”

I am feel ing pretty well today, I just got back from having my CAT scan. I am having stomach cramps, probably due to the barium I have to drink. I had a great weekend, I spent it with Angelia, we watched a video Friday night. Saturday we went shopping in Lufkin, TX for odds and ends. Saturday evening Angelia cooked a lovely meal and we looked at pictures. Sunday we went to church, out for lunch, and then we went to a relatives house to look at vacation pictures and to swim in the pool. I drove back to New Caney and spent the night at the trailer, I had to get up early for a 6:15 appointment. I hope and pray everyone has a blessed week!

GOOD MONDAY MORNING!

Moses said to the heads of the tribes of Isreal; "This is what the Lord commands: When a man makes a vow to the Lord or takes an oath to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word but must do everything he said." NUMBERS 30:1-2

I am doing pretty well, today, yesterday I had pretty bad cramps, but God gave me the strength to get through them. I had a job in Lafayette, LA on Friday, and another one in La Grange, TX on Saturday. I was suppose to travel back to Bridgeport, TX on Sunday, but due to rain making the location to muddy to work on, I got pospond until later this week. I went to visit Angelia in Nacgodoches, and had a real nice time, I had bought fireworks for Saturday night, and had to wait until Sunday night to light them. I have a CAT scan next Monday and Dr. appointment on Wednesday, Angelia is coming down to go to Dr. appointment with me, this will give her a chance to ask questions. I have been blessed to be able to spend time with Angelia when ever I get the chance. I pray everyone has a great week and will be in good health!

NEW BORN BIRDS!

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worring can add a single hour to his life?" MATTHEW 6:25-27

I am feeling well again today. I have a good day ahead of me, I have to drive to Bridgeport, TX for a job tomorrow. I enjoy making jobs with our sister company. I still had hot water this morning praise the Lord! I only have a few things left to get for the trailer, but these items can wait as I need them. I will be on the road tomorrow evening, so I won't be able to make the golf tournament. I should be able to spread the word of the Lord's saving grace to someone today and tomorrow. God is in charge of all, so let him lead the way, and enjoy the day!
